Dry Season
Well, nothing much to elaborate on this month. I didnt have much to contemplate i guess. I was at the field station for most of the month and so there was not much to ponderate except that it was not very dry for a dry season. I was there for the second dry season collection in my one year collection period and one day we got 97 mm of rain. Not bad for one day. It was a convectional thunderstorm though so i guess it wasnt that unusual for this time of year. One thing that was cool was that it was right above the fieldstation when it launched its fury upon us. The lightning hadnt stopped flashing by the time you started hearing the great big thunderclaps. I was enraptured by the torrent, until the leaky roof allowed rainwater to drip into my coffee. Not cool. But i got over it.
