There were all these moths at the temple on the summit, it seemed so strange to see these beautiful creatures at 2243m in very cold conditions. I am not sure what compels them to climb to the very summit, it seems odd that they aggregate there and not any where else. I would have thought that the numerous well lit tea houses along the way would provide a much warmer and safer haven than the exposed summit. Perhaps some mothperson can explain this behaviour...
