Well, last month was just another fieldwork month for me but
there was a workshop going on down in the village where the Forest Department has their offices for Sinharaja Forest. There were 20 something graduate students studying all aspects of rainforest ecology. Needless to say it made the forest and fieldstation quite a bit busy with all these folk roaming around. But it was good fun and i got to sit in on some lectures some of the evenings when i travelled down. They even pumped some money into making the fieldstation a bit flashier than normal...
