Walker's Stick Insect Vasilissa walkeri, individual was walking along a bush on the island i work on. We had never seen a specimen as large as this lady so we wanted her to pose for some snaps.
She was very obliging, and walked all over my field assistant so i could take some nice photos.
We put her back where we found her and hoped that no nearby birds saw us do that and that she is still happily living, making beautiful babies.
Pretty or what!
