Okay, so i have been doing a lot of data entry recently and thus have been sitting for hours on end doing 'work.' Which of course as everyone knows, involves about 85% time spent email checking, messengering, skyping, surfing and blogging and the remainder being number crunching drowned in digital music. SO, i guess you can say i have numbed my mind a little over the last few weeks.
I have been spending my time entering data from my many hours in the field and needless to say there are a lot of ants that are being passed into posterity as we speak. Mostly because i have had to produce some analysis of these said ants for presentation at conferences. One conference passed without too much pain, i stayed awake through most of the panel sessions (hurrah for coffee and sugar!) and my presentation passed without any gut-wrenching, confidence-shattering, tear-inducing question/answer sessions. :)
now i am preparing an abstract for the next conference, which is due tomorrow...
OMG, err, gotta get back to work-
