Oecophylla smaragdina, an ant species that is found throughout Asia and tropical Australia. Great ants, highly agressive and territorial, and happily take leeches offered to them. Inside the pitcher plant is an assassin bug, as if its not enough that a hapless insect could fall into the pitcher and drown, should it escape that fate, it would be promptly devoured by the assassin waiting by. Gotta love nature's ways. The little snake is another species of humpnose viper, thats my pencil next to it. They are highly venemous and aggressive but also very small and cute. The next picture of what appears to be coral is in fact a fungus on the forest floor. They are quite sturdy long lasting things although they seem incongruous in the forest surroundings.
