Things havent changed too much which is reassuring. Although little bits of colombo are invading the leafy suburb my parents live in. Like a world wide chain coffee house. But i shouldnt complain, i can get a latte without going into colombo. But i still prefer sri lankan coffee when on holiday. The grainy bits give it character :)
My mum's garden is still a jungle. Perhaps just a little more so as it is the rainy season-
The surrogate children are taking care of my parents well:)
And i was able to make the tail end of the mangosteen season. my favourite favourite favourite fruit. These stragglers were small but absolutely gorgeous :)
Didnt last long in the house though!
